The big question about 100k jobs is how realistic is to get them. Today getting 100k jobs is not a dream but an opportunity available in certain sectors. The professions like healthcare, information technology, sales management, construction, accounting and bio space are just few names which have 100k job openings.

Although starting salary after graduating from college in above mentioned areas are in the range of 50k – 70k. With few years of experience you have good chance of breaking 100k barrier.

The common myth that only executive jobs are 100k are not true anymore. Today anybody in any professional discipline such as Computers, Management, Accounting, Sales, and home based business with few years experience can earn more then 100k. In fact in some areas such as bay area, California 100k job is the average salary offered to professionals with few years experience.

In some states because of real-estate being and taxes being low, you will find salary in that region 20 percent lower then the other regions. In such case to break the barrier you either need advance degree to be above rest of the people or climb the ladder to reach executive level.
